CMT PREMIERE: Brett Eldredge Releases Timely, Poignant “Want That Back”

Brett Eldredge stunned nation music followers Friday morning by releasing his sentimental new tune “Need That Again” and its nostalgic, official music video.

Eldredge wrote the tune about craving for easier occasions with Scooter Carusoe. Reid Lengthy directed its accompanying clip that follows a gaggle of younger mates who bury a time capsule and return as adults to dig it up. The video made its broadcast premiere on CMT, CMT Music and ViacomCBS Instances Sq. Billboards Friday morning.

“I wakened at 3:33 one evening and was feeling the burden of every thing happening on the planet,” Eldredge stated in an announcement. “From the pandemic to the hate and the violence – all these various things made me crave the pure and easy elements of life that I miss. I used to be on the lookout for consolation in these moments that I really feel carry function into my life. “Need That Again,” produced by Dave Cobb, is the second new tune Eldredge has shared in lower than one month. He launched “Holy Water” on Christmas Eve, a monitor he stated “represents the cleaning of the spirit.”
