By means of the dizzying sounds of “Worry of Dying,” which Alison wrote and produced, she unpacks emotions of hysteria and crippling concern of shedding somebody near you. The vulnerability AW reveals is as current as ever on this new single, as she begins a brand new journey by confronting her previous head on.
“Worry of Dying” comes on the heels of “Fuck U Love U,” a licensed lure banger tinged with darkish, relatable emotion that instinctively tugs at coronary heart strings. These back-to-back releases showcase AW’s potential to maintain her signature sound intact, whereas gracefully evolving and tackling particularly painful topics.
The “Worry of Dying” music video (directed by Brandon Dremer) brings the music’s idea to life, as Alison holds her former self captive and in the end leaves the previous behind, making for a nail-biting end.
